The iron kettle used to boil “hot water for tea” expresses the heart of ZEN. In Japan the craftsmen who manufacture this iron kettle have inherited an artistic technique that prevents rust without using any surface coating. With a 150 year old tradition of iron kettle manufacturing, Oigen has focused on the biological merits of its traditional technology. Industrial technology has been developed （obtained a patent）, and a “safe and secure”, rust-free, non-coated, iron-only pan called Naked Pan has been created.
